Poor baby Avery. The last thing she needed was another "hole in her head," but she took a huge fall in the driveway last night and caught herself with her forehead. She took it all in stride, as usual, barely stopping to cry because she was in a big hurry to get back to playing. Her pain tolerance is amazing to the point of being ridiculous.
She did go to school today, but I felt AWFUl. It was obvious how bad the bonk looked, and they even had the school nurse come look at it. It didn't prevent her from having a blast and working hard. She even got in the pool for her first session of water therapy. She worked SO hard. She walked back and forth in waist deep water for a LONG time. This kind of exercise is so good for her strength, coordination, and balance. You go sweetie. Mommy couldn't be more proud of you right now! You keep defying all the odds stacked against you and everyone is amazed by your will and sheer determination to beat this nasty disease! Love you forever!
O.U.C.H.!!!
Fuzzy, but that smile is priceless. She's moving so fast, I can't keep up with my camera!
Trying to blow bubbles, and drink the pool. Yucky!
